Food Concepts Plc is recruiting a Warehouse Supervisor to join its Supply Chain Department in Port Harcourt, Rivers State.

The successful candidate will be responsible for supervising warehouse operations and ensuring that goods and inventory are properly received, stored, handled, and delivered on time and in good condition to production units, stores, and regional warehouse hubs.

The Warehouse Supervisor will report to the Warehouse Manager and will directly supervise the Warehouse Officer.

Key Responsibilities for This Warehouse Supervisor Job

• Identify and implement cost-saving measures to reduce the cost of storing and handling goods and equipment.
• Generate and analyse reports at agreed intervals to support inventory and working capital management decisions.
• Ensure the accuracy of stock picked for shipment.
• Ensure zero stock losses in the warehouse and while goods are in transit to stores and regional warehouse hubs.
• Monitor adherence to health, safety, and environmental guidelines.
• Ensure goods are received according to purchase order specifications or instructions from the Supply Chain Division.
• Apply appropriate asset management procedures to achieve maximum return on assets.
• Continuously evaluate warehouse security and implement necessary measures to protect stock.
• Develop preventive maintenance systems and contingency plans.
• Supervise picked stock in the warehouse staging area.
• Support the loading and offloading of stocks in the warehouse.
• Participate in cycle counting and monthly stock-count activities.
• Maintain high standards of housekeeping and hygiene in the assigned work area.
• Provide regular updates on stock positions when required.
• Carry out monthly stock reconciliation with Central Kitchen, Pie Production Units, Pie Xpress Kiosks, and Chicken Republic outlets.

• Membership of professional bodies such as CIPS, CILS, CILCS, CISCOM, Lean Six Sigma, or another related professional qualification is an added advantage.
• Good knowledge of warehouse and inventory management processes.
• Ability to maintain accurate stock records and support stock reconciliation activities.
• Ability to work with health, safety, environmental, security, and hygiene requirements.
