✍️ How to Make Your Teaching Application Stand Out

Schools get many applications for every opening. A few small things help yours rise to the top:

• Tailor your CV to the role. A nursery school wants to see patience and early years skills. A secondary school wants your subject strength. One generic CV for every job rarely works.
• Lead with your qualifications and teaching experience. Put your degree, teaching certification (if you have one) and years in the classroom near the top.
• Show results. Improved WAEC or NECO pass rates, a successful school event, a class you turned around: specifics get noticed.
• Keep it clean and easy to scan. Many employers now use applicant tracking systems (ATS) to filter CVs before a person reads them.

💡 Need a hand? Our CV Optimisation Tool helps turn your CV into an ATS-friendly, professional resume. Not sure teaching is your best path? Try our Career Assessment Tool to map your strengths. Both are on DDBract Solutions.

🛡️ Apply Safely: Never Pay for a Job

A genuine employer will never ask you to pay to be considered, interviewed or hired. Always apply through the official instructions on each job page, and be careful about sharing sensitive personal information. If something feels off, trust your instincts.
