Requirements

Candidates should have:

• A Bachelor’s Degree or HND in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 2–5 years of relevant accounting experience.
• ICAN or ACCA certification is an added advantage.
• Experience in food processing, manufacturing, agriculture, or FMCG is an advantage.
• Good knowledge of accounting principles, taxation, financial reporting, and reconciliation.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software.
• Strong numerical, analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent attention to detail, accuracy, and integrity.

Key Responsibilities

The Accountant will:

• Maintain accurate financial records and accounting documents.
• Record and reconcile daily financial transactions and bank statements.
• Prepare monthly financial statements and management reports.
• Monitor accounts payable, receivable, cash flow, expenses, and budgets.
• Prepare invoices and payment schedules.
• Assist with payroll, taxation, statutory payments, budgeting, and cost control.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards, tax regulations, and company policies.
• Support internal and external audits.
• Provide management with accurate financial information when required.
