Role Summary

TopHire Africa is seeking an experienced Production Pharmacist with strong pharmaceutical manufacturing experience to oversee and support production operations in compliance with GMP, approved procedures, quality standards, and regulatory requirements.

Core Job Functions for This Production Pharmacist Role

  • Production Supervision: Supervise and coordinate day-to-day pharmaceutical production activities.
  • GMP Compliance: Ensure production processes comply with GMP, SOPs, BMRs/BPRs, and approved manufacturing procedures.
  • Process Monitoring: Monitor production processes, yields, output, and adherence to production schedules.
  • Documentation: Ensure accurate and timely completion of production documentation.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with Quality Assurance, Quality Control, Engineering, and other relevant functions to resolve production and quality issues.
  • Investigations & Improvement: Participate in investigations, deviation management, CAPA, and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Team Development: Supervise, train, and develop production personnel while maintaining high standards of GMP and operational discipline.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Ensure compliance with applicable pharmaceutical regulatory and safety requirements.
