Requirements

• A PhD in Nursing from an accredited institution.
• An RN certificate licensed by the Nursing and Midwifery Council of Nigeria (NMCN).
• Prior undergraduate or postgraduate teaching experience.
• Nursing industry experience.
• Research publications in peer-reviewed journals or reputable conference proceedings.
• Strong communication, presentation, and student engagement skills.
• Knowledge of modern teaching methods and educational technology.
• Proficiency in relevant programming languages and software tools.

• The ability to collaborate with colleagues and students.

Key Responsibilities

• Teach undergraduate and/or postgraduate Nursing courses.
• Develop course materials, lecture notes, syllabi, and assignments.
• Mentor students and provide academic guidance.
• Conduct research and publish findings.
• Collaborate on research projects with colleagues and students.
• Visit and follow up with students during clinical postings.
• Participate in academic committees and departmental development.
• Support student recruitment and outreach activities.
