About the Role

This Junior Financial Accountant job in Lagos is a full-time position within the telecommunications/technology industry.

The role of a Junior Financial Accountant supports financial reporting, bookkeeping, reconciliations, and day-to-day accounting operations. Additionally, it operates within a technology and telecommunications environment.

Salary: N120,000 – N200,000 + Incentives

Key Responsibilities

Candidates applying for this Junior Financial Accountant job in Lagos will be expected to:

Maintain accurate financial records, invoices, and accounting documentation
Assist with bank reconciliations, expense tracking, and financial reporting
Support accounts payable and receivable activities
Prepare financial data and reports for management review
Ensure compliance with accounting procedures and financial controls
Perform other accounting duties as assigned

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field; a Master’s degree is an added advantage
Professional accounting qualification (CPA/ICAN or equivalent) is preferred
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel
Experience with accounting software such as Tally and FreshBooks
Previous experience in IoT, Smart City Solutions, FTTH/FTTX, VoIP, IPTV, or Telecommunications Operations is highly desirable
Strong understanding of infrastructure management within a technology environment
Experience in setting up or supporting the establishment of a telecommunications firm is an added advantage
Strong analytical, numerical, organizational, and communication skills
