Description

Tutorszone is seeking passionate, skilled, and tech-savvy online French tutors to deliver structured, interactive, high-quality virtual lessons to students across various grade levels, one-on-one or in small groups.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging and well-structured online lessons
• Prepare lesson plans in line with the curriculum
• Assess students’ performance and provide feedback
• Use digital tools (slides, whiteboards, videos, etc.) effectively
• Maintain a professional, distraction-free teaching environment
• Ensure punctuality and consistency for scheduled classes
• Upload lesson materials and reports as required
• Communicate progress with parents or guardians when necessary

Requirements

• Minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree (Education or a relevant field preferred); teaching certifications are an added advantage
• Minimum of 2 years’ teaching experience (online or offline)
• Experience working with children or teenagers
• Familiarity with international curricula (e.g., British, Canadian) is a plus
• Strong communication and teaching skills, with good classroom management in virtual settings
• Proficiency with online teaching tools (Zoom, Google Meet, etc.)
• Ability to simplify complex concepts; patience, creativity, and adaptability
• Basic tech troubleshooting skills
• Reliable laptop (mandatory), stable internet, headset with clear audio, and a quiet, professional teaching environment
• Willingness to undergo training and class observation
• Availability to commit to scheduled classes consistently
