Location: Port Harcourt, Rivers State
Role: Surface Well Testing – Maintenance Technician

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to support our Surface Well Testing operations in Port Harcourt.


Role Overview

The Maintenance Technician plays a critical role in ensuring the on-time, reliable delivery of equipment to meet operational demands. You will execute preventive maintenance, conduct repairs, and uphold world-class standards in equipment readiness, safety, and documentation.


Key Responsibilities

     

      • Perform preventive maintenance and repairs in line with the Reliability-Centered Maintenance strategy.

      • Ensure full compliance with CMMS processes, including accurate documentation of labor hours, equipment status, parts usage, and work orders.

      • Maintain strict adherence to SLB’s Technology Lifecycle Management (TLM) standards.

      • Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance asset utilization and reduce the Cost of Service Delivery (CoSD).

      • Contribute to failure investigations, including root cause analysis and corrective actions.

      • Implement CoSD-improvement projects and share best practices to uplift team performance.

      • Ensure all workshop documents are complete, accurate, and properly archived.

      • Participate actively in operational improvement programs and Maintenance Base activities.


    Qualifications & Experience

       

        • HND in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering

        • Minimum 3 years of experience in shop operations, focusing on surface well test equipment or downhole electronics.

        • Proven hands-on expertise in failure investigation and root cause analysis.

        • Strong teamwork, communication, and collaboration skills.

        • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
