Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and dependable Account Officer to join our team in Port Harcourt. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing financial transactions, maintaining accurate financial records, and supporting the overall financial operations of the organisation.

Key Responsibilities

• Process and record financial transactions, including payments, receipts, and invoices
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date accounting records, ledgers, and financial documentation
• Prepare financial reports and support budgeting and forecasting activities
• Reconcile accounts and resolve any discrepancies promptly
• Collaborate with internal departments to ensure smooth financial operations

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• Minimum of 1 year relevant work experience
• Prior experience in an accounting or finance role is an added advantage
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and relevant software
• High level of accuracy and attention to detail in data handling
