Job Opening: Area Sales Supervisor

Job Title: Area Sales Supervisor Location: Port Harcourt, Rivers State Job Type: Hybrid

BIC is hiring for the role below.

Main Responsibilities

  • Generate sales orders. Ensure product delivery in assigned sales areas and outlets.
  • Redistribute BIC products efficiently. Cover all relevant outlets in the assigned sales areas.
  • Review performance regularly with regional managers and customers. Keep this in line with agreed targets.
  • Build a coverage plan for the territory.
  • Look for new sales opportunities within the assigned sales areas.
  • Implement SFA and other projects without errors.
  • Execute promotions and deploy POSM without errors.

Key Performance Indicators

  • Meet sales targets for both volume and value.
  • Achieve the coverage plan. Add new outlets to the listing.
  • Maintain a strong order frequency and cash collection rate.
  • Get products to the shelf quickly. Ensure high-impact visibility.
  • Build strong numeric and weighted distribution of BIC products in the region.

Education and Professional Qualifications

  • An HND, Bachelor’s Degree, or related Business Degree.
  • 3 to 5 years of relevant experience.
  • Strong computer skills in Microsoft Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint. Advanced Excel skills are required.

  • Ability to spot new sales opportunities.
  • Understanding of customer needs. Ability to offer solution-led support.
