Description

Artee Group is recruiting an IT Support officer to provide technical support across its group companies in Lagos.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide technical support for group companies
• Work with the Service Desk to resolve end-user issues within service level parameters
• Provide first-level support for business applications by phone and remote access
• Troubleshoot IT problems and identify their source (hardware, software, user access, etc.)
• Work with infrastructure and application teams to resolve issues quickly with minimal business disruption
• Follow up to resolve issues at the root-cause level
• Document issues, the events leading up to them, and the steps taken to resolve them
• Log all problems accurately and promptly in the Service Desk system
• Ensure application-related issues are resolved
• Assist with coordinating hardware and software deployments and testing of new releases, when required
• Maintain stock of consumables, printers, and accessories
• Liaise with service providers to maintain optimal service usage and monitor SLAs
• Train users periodically on applications and hardware accessories or equipment

Requirements

• BA/BSc/HND qualification
• 1–2 years’ experience in IT support
• Strong understanding of the IT operational environment, with knowledge of critical systems and the importance of 100% availability
• Strong planning and organizing skills, with attention to detail
• Customer focus: identifies and responds to user needs and meets service quality standards
• Strong leadership and communication skills
• Good interpersonal skills and a dependable, detail-oriented, team-player attitude
• Able to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively
• Innovative, creative, and good at problem solving
