Description

Stellar Group is looking for an IT Officer to oversee technical support, manage systems and networks, coordinate IT projects, and develop IT policies within budget.

Key Responsibilities

• Technical Support: Oversee resolution of technical issues, guide the team on complex problems, and make sure user requests are handled on time
• System Administration: Manage computer systems, networks, and applications, keeping them available, reliable, and secure
• Project Management: Coordinate IT projects, define requirements, set timelines, and deliver projects successfully
• Policy and Procedure Development: Develop and enforce IT policies, procedures, and security protocols
• Budget Management: Manage IT resources, including hardware, software, and personnel, within allocated budgets
• Communication and Collaboration: Work with other departments to understand their IT needs and communicate IT strategy

Requirements

• University degree in computer science or an equivalent field
• More than 3 years of IT experience
• Strong technical knowledge of computer systems, networks, and applications
• Leadership and management skills, including the ability to motivate and mentor a team
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Project management skills
• Knowledge of IT security best practices and compliance requirements
• Experience with budgeting and resource allocation
