Job Summary
- The Inventory Finance Officer will be responsible for managing inventory-related financial activities, ensuring accurate stock valuation, cost control, and alignment between inventory records and financial data.
- The role supports supply chain operations by providing financial insights, improving inventory efficiency, and ensuring proper controls.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor and reconcile inventory records with financial data
- Ensure accurate stock valuation and cost tracking
- Work closely with supply chain and warehouse teams on inventory management
- Analyze inventory movements, variances, and shrinkage
- Prepare inventory reports and support month-end closing activities
- Implement and maintain internal controls for inventory processes
- Support budgeting and forecasting related to inventory and supply chain
- Ensure compliance with company policies and financial regulations
- Identify cost-saving opportunities and improve inventory efficiency.
Requirements
- B.Sc./HND in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- 3 – 5 years experience in inventory, cost, or supply chain finance
- Strong knowledge of inventory accounting and stock control processes
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- High attention to detail and accuracy.
Salary
N350,000 monthly.
