• Maintain accurate equipment-location, splicing, and termination records for the fiber database.
• Assist the Construction and Engineering departments in accepting and activating fiber networks.
• Install fiber-optic equipment, patch panels, and related components.
• Monitor network performance, communicate issues, and implement corrective actions to resolve fiber-related problems.
• Install demarcation enclosures and other telecommunications equipment.
• Apply modern fiber-optic splicing techniques to ensure reliable network connections.
• Use relevant fiber-optic and telecommunications tools to carry out installation, testing, and maintenance activities.
• Work independently with minimal supervision while evaluating technical problems and implementing appropriate solutions.
• Work flexible schedules, including on-call duties, night shifts, and overtime when required.
