About the Role

This Experienced Electrical Engineer, Oil & Gas job in Egbeda, Lagos is a full-time position. Additionally, it provides technical support for electrical equipment and systems. It handles complex troubleshooting and maintenance, and it supports maintenance, turnaround, and new project activities.

Job Responsibilities

Candidates applying for this Electrical Engineer, Oil & Gas job in Lagos will be expected to:

• Provide technical support for electrical equipment and systems
• Handle complex electrical troubleshooting and maintenance
• Support maintenance, turnaround, and new project activities
• Implement maintenance strategies for electrical equipment
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to team members

Requirements

• 5–7 years’ experience in an engineering firm or the Oil & Gas industry
• Strong knowledge of HV & LV power distribution, motor drives, alternators, inverters, switchgear, breakers, and electrical protection systems
• Good understanding of Electrical, Instrumentation, and Control logic diagrams
• Experience with CMMS/SAP for work orders and maintenance activities
• Good understanding of instrumentation and mechanical systems
• Previous FPSO experience is an added advantage
