Job Title: Maintenance Planner / Scheduler

Location: Port Harcourt, Rivers

Job Type: Full-time

Job Description

  • Foster a strong safety culture in alignment with Company HSE requirements and rules.
  • Ensure that HSE regulations, industry standards, and approved operating procedures are integrated into planning activities.
  • Prioritize planning for Safety and Environmental Critical Equipment (SECE).
  • Develop and maintain short-term (2 weeks), mid-term (5 weeks), and long-term (4 months) activity schedules for GMC operations in SAP.
  • Ensure all tasks comply with company rules, best standards, and legal regulations.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate resources, materials, tools, and support services to prepare for execution of planned jobs.
  • Optimize work plans based on offshore stakeholder feedback, ensuring smooth execution.
  • Ensure timely updates and clean-up of completed tasks in SAP.
  • Work with offshore teams and functional planners (e.g., maintenance, FMC, Well Services, Projects) to integrate interrelated activities.
  • Facilitate planning reviews, adjusting plans as needed to align with operational feedback.
  • Regularly review and minimize backlog of planned work, focusing on SECE tasks.
  • Lead readiness tracking and reporting for shutdowns and campaigns, ensuring all tasks are properly prepared.
  • Create detailed execution plans using MS Project.
  • Monitor and report progress, ensuring alignment with schedules and readiness.

Requirements

  • Chartered Engineer (A-levels + 5 years of study) or equivalent.
  • Higher National Diploma or Certificate (HND/HNC) or BTS/DUT (A-levels + 3 years of study).
  • 5 to 10 years in maintenance within oil and gas production installations.
  • In-depth knowledge of oil and gas treatment processes and equipment.
  • Proficient in SAP/R3.
  • Strong expertise in MS Office, especially Excel.
  • Strong communication and motivational skills for working with multi-national teams.
