About the Role
As a Support Worker, you will provide essential care and support directly in the community. This role involves short shifts (4–8 hours) and requires flexibility, as shift patterns vary depending on individual care packages.Your contribution will directly shape positive outcomes for the people we support.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with mobility and monitor vital signs
- Support with meal preparation, hydration, household tasks, and companionship
- Provide emotional and practical support
- Administer medication safely and maintain accurate records
Requirements
- Minimum 1 year of healthcare experience, preferably in home/community care
- Experience supporting individuals with mental health needs, autism, or learning disabilities
- Full UK driving licence and PMVA training
- Strong communication skills, empathy, and the ability to work independently
- Flexible availability, including nights, weekends, or holidays
