Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly experienced Quality Assurance and Quality Control (QA/QC) Manager to oversee all quality functions across projects. The ideal candidate will ensure compliance with ISO 9001:2015 standards and project-specific requirements, providing leadership in quality planning, control, and continuous improvement.
Responsibilities:
Operations & Administration
- Develop and implement project quality plans aligned with ISO 9001:2015 and contract requirements.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and project quality documentation.
- Lead quality audits, establish QA/QC procedures, and conduct regular internal QA meetings.
- Manage QA/QC documentation and ensure timely delivery of inspection reports.
People & Safety Management
- Conduct quality induction training for new personnel.
- Supervise QA/QC staff and ensure adherence to safety standards and use of PPE.
- Promote a safe and quality-focused work environment.
Project Oversight
- Advise project leadership on quality aspects of contractual obligations.
- Define resource needs and supervise quality during project execution phases.
- Oversee inspection, testing, and equipment pre-mobilization activities.
- Coordinate with engineering, procurement, and construction teams on quality implementation.
Audits & Inspections
- Implement Inspection & Test Plans (ITPs).
- Lead internal/external audits and ensure corrective actions are completed.
- Approve quality documentation including welding specs, test records, and inspection reports.
Vendor/Subcontractor Quality Management
- Evaluate and pre-qualify suppliers and subcontractors.
- Attend vendor meetings and enforce client quality expectations.
- Review and assign inspection levels to vendor ITPs.
- Ensure subcontractor activities meet Ardrend’s quality standards.
Requirements:
- Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Quality, or a related field.
- Experience: Minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in QA/QC roles.
- Technical Skills:
- Proficient in ISO 9001:2015, API, ASME, FMEA, SPC, and quality control plans.
- Skilled in audit planning, inspection techniques, and corrective action processes.
- Strong problem-solving, documentation, and reporting abilities.
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Personal Skills:
- Highly detail-oriented, organized, and self-motivated.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to lead teams and manage multiple priorities efficiently.
