Job Summary
- We are seeking a diligent HSE Officer to ensure a safe and compliant working environment.
- You will monitor health, safety, and environmental practices, helping to protect employees, assets, and the company’s reputation.
Key Responsibilities
- Implement and monitor HSE policies, procedures, and programs.
- Conduct regular safety audits, inspections, and risk assessments.
- Investigate incidents, near-misses, and accidents; prepare reports and recommend corrective actions.
- Ensure compliance with local regulations and industry standards.
- Conduct HSE training and awareness sessions for staff.
- Maintain HSE records, permits, and documentation.
- Support emergency preparedness and response initiatives.
Requirements
- Relevant HSE certifications (NEBOSH, OSHA) preferred.
- Knowledge of local HSE laws and regulations.
- Strong analytical, observation, and problem-solving skills.
- Minimum of 4 years relevant experience.
- Must reside in Port Harcourt.
