Job Title: Full-Time Community Pharmacist

Job Summary
- The Community Pharmacist is responsible for managing the daily clinical and operational activities of the retail pharmacy, ensuring safe dispensing of medications, delivering patient-centered pharmaceutical care, and maintaining full regulatory compliance.
Key Responsibilities
Clinical & Professional Duties:
- Accurately review and dispense prescriptions in accordance with legal and professional standards.
- Conduct thorough prescription screening for drug interactions, contraindications, allergies, and dosing errors.
- Provide medication counseling and health education to patients.
Regulatory & Compliance Management:
- Ensure full compliance with all pharmacy laws and professional regulations.
- Maintain valid annual practicing license and ensure premises license is up to date.
- Prepare and coordinate regulatory inspections.
Inventory & Stock Management:
- Oversee procurement from approved and licensed suppliers.
- Monitor stock levels, expiry dates, and batch numbers using FEFO/FIFO principles.
- Prevent stock-outs of fast-moving and essential medicines.
Sales & Business Development:
- Drive ethical sales growth while prioritizing patient safety
- Monitor sales performance and margin control
- Implement strategies to increase prescription volume and OTC sales.
Team Leadership & Supervision:
- Supervise pharmacy technicians, assistants, and sales staff
- Train staff on product knowledge, customer service, and compliance procedures.
- Schedule shifts and manage performance.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Bachelor of Pharmacy (B.Pharm) or Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharma.D).
- Current annual practicing license.
- 2 – 5 years of community pharmacy experience preferred.
- Strong clinical knowledge and dispensing accuracy.
- Experience with pharmacy management software is an advantage.
