Job Title: Medical Laboratory Scientist

Job Summary
- We are looking for a qualified Medical Laboratory Scientist to conduct accurate laboratory tests that support the diagnosis, treatment, and prevention of diseases while maintaining high standards of quality, safety, and professionalism.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct hematology, chemistry, microbiology, serology, and other diagnostic tests.
- Ensure proper collection, labeling, and processing of patient samples.
- Operate and maintain laboratory equipment and analyzers.
- Review and release accurate laboratory results promptly.
- Maintain proper documentation of test results and quality control records.
- Follow laboratory safety procedures and proper waste disposal guidelines.
- Participate in quality control and continuous improvement of laboratory services.
- Report equipment faults and assist in resolving technical issues.
- Maintain confidentiality of patient information.
- Provide support and guidance to interns or junior staff.
Requirements
- B.Sc. in Medical Laboratory Science or related field.
- Valid professional license and registration with the relevant regulatory body
- Minimum of 1 year relevant work experience post NYSC.
- Good knowledge of laboratory diagnostic procedures.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
