Title: NMA Postgraduate Internship Program
The NMA Postgraduate Internship Program is designed to support Nigerian students pursuing postgraduate degrees. This initiative reflects Chevron’s commitment to corporate social responsibility and the Student Industrial Work Experience Scheme.
Program Summary:
- Provides hands-on experience and technical knowledge development.
- Interns will contribute to various assignments aligned with their academic disciplines or research interests.
- Participants will benefit from mentorship, professional guidance, and curated learning opportunities.
Eligibility:
- Open to Nigerian students enrolled in Master’s or Doctorate programs, either in-country or overseas.
- Research or industry experience must be a mandatory component of the academic program.
Requirements:
- Prospective candidates will be required to obtain a recommendation letter from their institutions which must be submitted with the internship application.
- Minimum of 6 months to a maximum of 12 months for Master’s students and up to 24 months for Doctorate students.
- Applications must include research areas or interests.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential.
- All applicants will go through a shortlisting process which will include aptitude tests and/or interviews. Selections will be strictly based on performance and available space.
