Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced Hotel Manager to drive revenue growth, expand client relationships, and position the hotel as a preferred choice for corporate and leisure clients.
The ideal candidate understands the hospitality market in Port Harcourt and has a proven track record of increasing occupancy and sales.
Key Responsibilities
– Develop and execute business development strategies to increase occupancy and revenue
– Identify and secure new corporate clients, partnerships, and bulk bookings
– Maintain and grow relationships with existing clients and key accounts
– Conduct market research to identify trends, competitor activities, and opportunities
– Collaborate with marketing to drive campaigns and promotional offers
– Negotiate contracts, rates, and service agreements with clients
– Represent the hotel at industry events, networking functions, and sales meetings
– Prepare and present regular sales reports and forecasts
– Work closely with operations to ensure excellent guest experience and service delivery
Requirements
– Minimum of 3–5 years experience as a Hotel Manager in the hospitality industry
– Strong network within Port Harcourt corporate and hospitality space
– Proven ability to meet or exceed revenue targets
– Excellent negotiation, communication, and relationship management skills
– Strong understanding of hotel sales cycles, pricing, and customer behavior
– Ability to work independently and drive results in a fast-paced environment
– Must reside in Port Harcourt
