Job Title: Business Development Officer (BDO)
Location: Port Harcourt, Rivers
Role Description
- The Business Development Officer will drive growth by identifying opportunities, building relationships, and securing contracts within the maritime, offshore, and oil & gas sectors, while promoting Otanium Energy’s engineering and energy optimization services.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field
- Minimum of 2 years experience in business development, sales, or a related role
- Proven ability to generate leads and close deals
- Strong network within the maritime, offshore, or oil & gas sectors is highly desirable
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
- Good understanding of marine electrical systems, offshore operations, or engineering services is an advantage
- Experience working with vessel operators, oil & gas companies, or offshore service providers
- Ability to understand and interpret technical proposals and client requirements
- Self-motivated, target-driven, and able to work independently
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools and basic reporting
