Job Title: Chief Operating Officer

Location: Abuja (FCT) 
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Summary

  • We are seeking an experienced and strategic Chief Operating Officer (COO) to oversee the day-to-day operations of our organization.
  • The COO will work closely with the CEO and executive team to ensure operational efficiency, implement business strategies, and drive growth across all departments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement operational strategies aligned with the company’s goals and objectives.
  • Oversee daily operations across all departments, ensuring efficiency and high performance.
  • Manage budgets, resources, and operational planning to optimize productivity.
  • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and operational metrics to drive improvements.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop department heads and operational teams.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, industry regulations, and quality standards.
  • Identify opportunities for process optimization, cost reduction, and innovation.
  • Collaborate with the CEO and executive team on strategic decision-making.
  • Report on operational performance and recommend solutions to enhance effectiveness.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Management, or a related field (MBA preferred).
  • Proven experience in a senior operational leadership role.
  • Strong strategic planning, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
  • Excellent leadership and team management abilities.
  • Knowledge of business operations, finance, and organizational processes.
  • Ability to work under pressure and make high-level decisions.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 1-2 years of experience in executive management roles.
  • Experience in healthcare or hospital administration is an advantage.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
