Job Title: Medical Officer

Job Summary
- The Medical Officer will be responsible for providing high-quality medical care to patients, supporting clinical operations, and ensuring adherence to established medical standards and protocols.
- The ideal candidate must demonstrate strong clinical skills, professionalism, and a commitment to excellent patient outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
- Examine, diagnose, and treat patients presenting with various medical conditions
- Provide general medical consultations and manage outpatient and inpatient care
- Order and interpret laboratory and diagnostic tests
- Prescribe appropriate medications and treatment plans
- Monitor patient progress and adjust treatments when necessary
- Maintain accurate and detailed medical records
- Respond to medical emergencies promptly and effectively
- Collaborate with specialists, nurses, laboratory scientists, and other healthcare professionals
- Ensure compliance with hospital policies, clinical protocols, and ethical standards
- Participate in clinical meetings, case reviews, and continuous medical education
Requirements and Qualifications
Mandatory Requirements:
- MBBS or equivalent medical degree from a recognized institution
- Valid practicing license with the Medical and Dental Council
- Completion of NYSC or exemption certificate
- 2–3 years post-NYSC clinical experience
- Strong clinical and diagnostic skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced clinical environment
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working in a private hospital setting
- Additional certifications such as ACLS, BLS, or related clinical training
- Strong teamwork and leadership abilities.
What We Offer
- Salary: N450,000 – N550,000 per month (gross) for 2-3 years of Experience
- Salary: N550,000 – N650,000 per month (gross) for over 5 years of Experience
