People & Culture Generalist

📍 Location: Ikoyi, Lagos
🏢 Company: Sparkle Microfinance Bank
💼 Work Mode: Hybrid (3 days in office, 2 days remote)

We’re looking for a People & Culture Generalist who is passionate about building strong teams, driving employee engagement, and ensuring seamless HR operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the full talent lifecycle, including recruitment, onboarding, and hiring

  • Lead culture and employee engagement initiatives

  • Coordinate and support learning and development programs

  • Oversee HR operations, documentation, and compliance

  • Act as a trusted HR partner and go-to resource for employees and management

Requirements

  • ~5 years of HR generalist experience

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field

  • Strong computer skills (especially MS Excel) and experience with HRIS platforms such as Odoo

  • Data-driven, hands-on, and comfortable managing multiple HR functions

  • Good knowledge of Nigerian labour law and HR best practices
