Position Summary

The Field Marketing Specialist (FMS) is responsible for executing Red Bull’s local marketing strategy in the South East region. Reporting to the Field Marketing Manager (FMM), the role emphasizes strong field presence, community engagement, and brand-building initiatives across sports, culture, consumer collecting, and communications. This is a field-based role requiring frequent travel and active involvement in regional campaigns.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Implementation

  • Collaborate with the FMM to develop and implement field strategies.
  • Align local activities with brand values and global marketing standards.
  • Manage internal and external marketing requests in line with regional priorities.

Consumer Collecting

  • University Program:
    Empower Student Marketeers to position Red Bull within key student activities. Drive brand engagement and product trials across campuses.
  • Sampling Program:
    Lead targeted sampling initiatives to attract new consumers. Provide coaching and ensure effective use of program tools.

Sports Marketing

  • Engage local sports scenes, manage events and activations, and collaborate with key opinion leaders.
  • Represent the Red Bull athlete portfolio and support national/international initiatives.

Culture Marketing

  • Develop cultural networks, especially in music and dance.
  • Promote product placement and brand integration in cultural activities.

Communications & Media

  • Design local communication strategies to support campaigns and activations.
  • Build influencer and social media relationships to boost brand visibility.

Brand Image & Local Presence

  • Coordinate premium marketing events and local media engagement.
  • Support Student Marketeers with tools and guidance to strengthen brand loyalty.

Innovation & Execution

  • Develop creative, locally-relevant campaigns that complement national/global strategies.
  • Lead ideation sessions with team members to drive student-focused initiatives.

Operational & Organizational Excellence

  • Manage logistics, inventory, branded assets, and recruitment/onboarding of Student Marketeers.
  • Monitor program efficiency, budgets, and outsourcing where applicable.

Requirements

  • 2–3 years’ experience in marketing (preferably field marketing, sports, events, or culture).
  • Proven experience in team leadership and sales.
  • Strong planning, organizational, and analytical skills.
  • Effective communicator with strong presentation and networking abilities.
  • Creative thinker with a track record of successful idea implementation.
  • Deep understanding of the South East region and relevant cultural/sports networks.
  • Bachelor’s degree (minimum); fluency in English (verbal and written) required.
