Job Title: Senior Safety Engineer

Job Summary
Zigma Limited, a pioneering female-led energy company, is hiring a Senior Safety Engineer to ensure compliance with safety regulations and manage risk assessment processes. This role involves overseeing safety engineering support, conducting hazard assessments, and developing risk reduction strategies for oil and gas facilities.
Responsibilities
- Ensure safety compliance in facility design, operation, and modifications.
- Conduct risk assessments (HAZOP, HAZID, SIL) and safety case updates.
- Perform fire, gas, and explosion modeling using PHAST software.
- Lead Major Risk Management initiatives and process safety awareness training.
- Monitor safety barriers and develop dashboards for risk assessment.
Requirements
- BSc in Chemical, Petroleum, or related Engineering (MSc in Safety Engineering is a plus).
- 10+ years of experience in the oil & gas industry, with at least 5 years in Safety & Loss Prevention.
- Strong knowledge of risk assessment techniques and regulatory standards.
- Excellent analytical, communication, and organizational skills.
