Job Summary
Amaiden Energy Nigeria seeks a Telecoms Projects & Operations Engineer to design, install, and maintain telecom systems in the Oil & Gas industry. The role involves supervising offshore telecom specialists, managing equipment like CCTV, UHF/VHF radios, and satellite TV, and ensuring compliance with installation standards. Ideal candidates should have expertise in telecom engineering, system optimization, and project management.
Responsibilities
- Design and maintain telecom systems and infrastructure.
- Operate and troubleshoot field telecom equipment.
- Evaluate technical bids and manage service contracts.
- Conduct routine assessments and recommend improvements.
- Supervise offshore telecom specialists and ensure compliance.
Requirements
- Minimum University Degree B.Sc Degree (Second Class lower) / HND (Distinction) degree in Electrical, Electronics or Computer Engineering.
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in telecommunication or network engineering, operation, and maintenance.
- Good reporting, interpersonal and communication skills.
- Knowledge and use of computer drawing and office applications.
