Job Summary
Sahara Group seeks a Terminal Manager to oversee day-to-day terminal operations, including product receipt, storage, distribution, and compliance with HSSE and engineering standards. The role involves liaising with stakeholders, managing staff and contractors, and ensuring efficient logistics and bulk stock accountability.
Responsibilities
- Supervise product receipt, storage, and loading operations.
- Ensure compliance with HSSE, quality, and legislative standards.
- Manage staff, contractors, and work permits.
- Maintain operational efficiency, asset management, and maintenance.
- Prepare stock reports (daily, weekly, monthly).
- Conduct audits and performance monitoring.
Requirements
- Degree in Science or Engineering.
- 5-8 years post-NYSC experience in bulk storage depot operations.
- Strong logistics and depot management expertise.
- Experience handling bulk LPG products.
- Skills in contractor management, problem-solving, and multitasking.
- Strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills.
