Job Summary
The Lead Engineer, Turbine Controls oversees preventive, corrective, and breakdown maintenance of turbine systems, ensuring efficiency and reliability.
Responsibilities
- Supervise preventive and corrective maintenance, ensuring documentation.
- Develop and enhance maintenance procedures.
- Monitor maintenance schedules and ensure timely execution.
- Assess staff training needs for optimal performance.
- Ensure compliance with HSE guidelines.
- Support spare parts planning, budgeting, and procurement.
- Implement strategies to improve performance and reliability.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer, Electrical, Mechanical, Chemical, or Systems Engineering.
- Postgraduate/professional qualification is an advantage.
- 5–10 years of experience, with at least 3 years in a supervisory role.
- Strong knowledge of I&C systems, troubleshooting, and maintenance processes.
- Technical expertise in I&C systems and power plant maintenance.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Knowledge of computerized maintenance management systems.
- Understanding of health, safety, and quality standards.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
