Ecobank Transnational Incorporated (ETI) is seeking a skilled Senior Software Developer to drive the development, implementation, and maintenance of software products and services for the Ecobank Group. This role will collaborate with stakeholders to deliver innovative solutions that meet business and customer needs.
Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and maintain software programs and solutions.
- Provide training to Software Engineers across Ecobank’s network.
- Lead the implementation of 3-tier domains for Commercial, Corporate, and Consumer Banking.
- Conduct root cause analysis, code reviews, and unit testing.
- Maintain up-to-date specifications and documentation.
- Investigate and resolve software performance issues.
- Drive innovation to enhance processes and operational efficiency.
Requirements
- University Degree in Computer Science, Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Numeric Sciences.
- ITIL certification.
- Minimum of 5 years of programming experience.
- Proven expertise in Service-Oriented Architecture (SOA) and Microservices.
- Familiarity with CI/CD tools, container technologies, and workflow systems.
- Proficiency in programming languages and technologies such as JAVA, REST, SQL, NoSQL, MySQL, PL/SQL, Oracle Middleware, and Spring MVC.
- Knowledge of Oracle Banking Platform (OBDX, Flexcube), data structures, algorithms, and design patterns.
- Strong understanding of security standards and digital technologies.
- Excellent leadership, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a multicultural and multinational environment.
- Willingness to travel as required.
