Job Description:
Dangote Sugar Refinery Plc is seeking a skilled Mechanical Engineer to oversee the maintenance, optimization, and reliability of mechanical systems and equipment. This role involves enhancing production efficiency and contributing to the refinery’s overall operational success.
Responsibilities:
- Design and develop mechanical systems and equipment for the sugar refinery.
- Conduct regular maintenance and inspections to ensure optimal performance.
- Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical issues promptly.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to improve processes and production efficiency.
- Analyze equipment performance metrics and identify improvement areas.
- Assist with planning and executing capital projects and upgrades.
- Train and mentor junior engineers and technical staff in mechanical engineering practices.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience, preferably in manufacturing or construction.
- Proficiency in engineering software (e.g., AutoCAD, SolidWorks).
- Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, maintenance, and repair processes.
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills.
- Commitment to safety, quality, and industry best practices.
