Description

Uridium Technologies is recruiting an Intermediate Software Developer – AWS Cloud to design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain software applications and cloud-based solutions on AWS. The role covers building scalable, secure, and reliable software, integrating applications with cloud services, supporting deployments, and improving development processes. The successful candidate will work with senior developers, testers, DevOps engineers, business analysts, and project managers, and must be able to handle assigned tasks independently.

Key Responsibilities

• Software Development: Design, build, and maintain applications from approved business and technical requirements, including backend services, APIs, and integration modules; fix defects and take part in code reviews and design discussions
• AWS Cloud: Develop and deploy applications on AWS using services such as EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, API Gateway, CloudWatch, IAM, VPC, and ECS or EKS; manage environments from development to production; monitor performance and support cost optimization
• APIs and Integration: Build and maintain RESTful APIs, integrate with internal systems and third-party platforms (payment gateways, banking platforms, enterprise systems), and document APIs with Swagger or OpenAPI
• Databases: Design and maintain application databases, write efficient SQL queries and stored procedures, and work with PostgreSQL, MySQL, SQL Server, or Amazon Aurora
• Testing and Quality: Write unit tests, support integration, regression, and user acceptance testing, and document issues and outcomes
• DevOps and CI/CD: Support CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, AWS CodePipeline, or CodeBuild; use Git and Docker; support Infrastructure as Code with Terraform, CloudFormation, or AWS CDK
• Security and Performance: Apply secure coding practices, authentication and access control, and encryption; remediate vulnerabilities and optimize performance
• Documentation and Collaboration: Maintain technical documentation, join sprint meetings, give estimates and progress updates, and assist junior developers

Requirements

• B.Sc. Degree
• 3–4 years of relevant experience
