💊 What You’ll Be Doing

The successful candidate, as a Pharmacist, will help ensure safe and effective pharmaceutical care while providing professional support to patients and customers.

Key responsibilities include:

Dispensing & Patient Counseling

  • Accurately dispense prescription and OTC medications.
  • Counsel patients on dosage, side effects, and possible drug interactions.
  • Provide professional guidance on medication use.

🩺 Patient Care

  • Provide health advice and minor ailment consultations.
  • Identify situations requiring referral to other healthcare professionals.
  • Support patient-focused pharmaceutical care.

📦 Inventory Management

  • Monitor stock levels and order supplies.
  • Check medication expiry dates.
  • Manage cold-chain products appropriately.
  • Maintain proper pharmaceutical inventory.

📋 Compliance

  • Ensure pharmacy operations comply with PCN, NAFDAC, and company SOPs.
  • Maintain accurate records, including controlled-drug documentation.
  • Uphold pharmaceutical and professional standards.

🤝 Customer & Team Support

  • Build positive relationships with patients and healthcare providers.
  • Handle customer inquiries professionally and empathically.
  • Work with pharmacy technicians, cashiers, and other staff to maintain smooth operations.
  • Support health screenings, vaccinations, and wellness campaigns when required.

🎓 Requirements

Candidates should have:

  • Bachelor of Pharmacy (B.Pharm) from a recognized institution.
  • A current practicing license with the Pharmacists Council of Nigeria (PCN).
  • NYSC certificate or exemption letter.
  • 1–3 years post-licensure experience in retail or community pharmacy is preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of pharmacology, drug interactions, and pharmaceutical law.
  • Good communication and customer service skills.
  • Proficiency with pharmacy software and MS Office.
  • Strong ethical standards and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work rotational shifts, weekends, and public holidays.
