Key Responsibilities

• Assist the pharmacist with receiving, preparing, labeling, and dispensing prescriptions

• Maintain accurate prescription, patient, and controlled-medicine records in line with applicable regulations
• Receive and process customer requests, prescription refills, and medication collections professionally
• Provide basic medicine-use information within the approved scope of practice, referring clinical questions to the pharmacist
• Support the maintenance of a clean, organized, and safe pharmacy environment
• Handle payments, receipts, and point-of-sale transactions where required
• Assist with medication deliveries, returns, recalls, and disposal procedures
• Follow all pharmacy policies, confidentiality requirements, health-and-safety standards, and regulatory guidelines

Requirements

• Diploma, certificate, or recognized training in Pharmacy Technician studies, Pharmacy Technology, or a related field
• Current registration or licensing as a Pharmacy Technician, where required
• Previous pharmacy, retail, hospital, or healthcare experience is an advantage
• Good understanding of pharmacy operations, medication storage, labeling, and inventory management
• Strong attention to detail, numeracy, organization, and customer-service skills
• Proficiency with computer systems and pharmacy-management software is an advantage
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and as part of a team
• High level of integrity, professionalism, and commitment to patient confidentiality
