Job Summary

Job Title: Private Banker
Location: Port Harcourt Avenue, Rivers
The Private Banker will grow, maintain, and retain a portfolio of private banking customers. This is done in line with segment value propositions and related activities aimed at creating value for both the client and the bank.

Responsibilities

  • Retain Private Banking customers as outlined in the segment value proposition and reflected by the Country segment strategy.
  • Build strong working relationships with enabler and fulfilment functions (including credit, product, and wealth specialists) to shorten turnaround times.
  • Work closely with the sales team to ensure a smooth handover of clients to relationship management after a sale. Own customer requests, complaints, and applications, and follow each one through to completion, keeping the customer updated on progress.
  • Conduct a needs analysis with new and existing customers to make sure product opportunities match their needs and priorities.
  • Proactively manage the portfolio to maximize revenue for the bank (fees, margins, sales), minimize costs and risks, and strengthen the customer’s relationship with the bank.

Qualifications

University Degree.

Experience

  • 5 to 7 years of experience in sales, High Net Worth Individuals relationship management, credit applications, and financial acumen, with a proven sales track record in the financial services industry.
