Job Overview

We are looking for an experienced Tiling Supervisor to join a construction project team in Victoria Island, Lagos. The ideal candidate will bring at least 5 years of hands-on tiling supervision experience, strong technical knowledge of tile installation, and proven leadership managing site teams. This role is perfect for a detail-oriented construction professional who takes pride in precision, quality finishing, and safe site practices.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise all tiling works, including floors, walls, bathrooms, kitchens, and external areas
• Read and interpret construction drawings, Bills of Quantities (BOQs), and project specifications
• Set out accurate tile layouts, levels, and patterns
• Manage tilers, helpers, and subcontractors to ensure timely project delivery
• Monitor workmanship to guarantee high-quality finishing, alignment, levelling, and grouting
• Ensure efficient use of materials, tools, and equipment while minimizing waste
• Enforce Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) policies on-site
• Prepare daily site progress reports and liaise with the Project Manager/Site Engineer
• Train and mentor junior tilers on industry best practices

Requirements & Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years’ experience supervising tiling works on building construction projects
• Strong knowledge of ceramic, porcelain, granite, marble, and mosaic tile installation
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and BOQs
• Proven track record managing site teams and delivering quality workmanship
• Solid understanding of HSE standards and site safety practices
